FIRM - Florida Institute for Reproductive Medicine

We originally started working with Dr. Daniel Duffy in September 2020, we underwent 4 IUIs and 2 IVF egg retrievals under his care. Without his knowledge and patience we wouldn’t have our 2 PGS normal embryos. Unfortunately, he left FIRM and joined Brown Fertility in October 2021 when we became Dr. Winslow’s patient. Dr. Winslow prepped me for our first FET and completed the FET procedure as well as our first 2 ultrasounds to confirm and monitor the pregnancy. Very professional and knowledgeable.

FIRM is an amazing place to be when seeking treatment for infertility. We originally started our journey with Brown Fertility in 2018, but overall we felt it wasn’t the right place for us. After taking a 14 month break we decided to move forward with FIRM and we were so impressed with them from the minute we set the appt to the day we graduated. I can’t say enough about the compassion and professionalism the team carries.

I was originally with Dr Duffy before he left in October. I was transferred to Dr Winslow following. He followed Dr Duffy’s plan for me and was super knowledgeable and caring. He always called my family by name and knew my chart. I know the clinic was under strain as they were down to 2 doctors at one point but I never felt it as a patient- I was always able to get scheduled and see a doctor. I loved that a doctor always did the scans so you are able to get real time feedback, not wait all day for a call. I also wanted to mention that Dr Erb did my retrieval and transfer and she was super calming and had a great bedside manner as well.

This clinic is night and day from my last one. We drove 4 hours round trip to each appointment just to go to FIRM. Pam was my nurse and I wouldn’t have made it though this process without her. Pam is like family! Also Carrie and Domino were also fantastic through the entire process. I called A LOT. I never felt like I was a pain and they always answered my questions. Someone always answers the nurse line! We did the 3 cycle plan after a not so great cycle at my last clinic- Dr Duffy said we should do the 1 Cycle and we probably should have since we’re pregnant after our 1st transfer here BUT I loved that I didn’t have so much pressure on myself - that we had more cycles if needed. I highly recommend FIRM!
