About Dr. John Park
John K. Park, MD, MSc, earned his undergraduate degree in Biology and Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and later moved to Atlanta, where he completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Emory University.
He was elected to serve as an administrative chief resident and he was the recipient of several awards, including the Excellence in Endoscopy Award from the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the Resident Achievement Award from the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, and First Place in Resident Research Day for his work on endometriosis.
After residency, Dr. Park remained at Emory University to complete a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. During his fellowship, he obtained a Master’s of Science in Clinical Research through the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Emory University. Upon completion of his fellowship, he joined the faculty at Emory University as an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
Dr. Park is board certified in Ob/Gyn and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American Society of Reproductive Medicine, and Society of Reproductive Surgeons. Dr. Park’s interests include polycystic ovary syndrome, endometriosis, ovulation induction, in vitro fertilization (IVF), and minimally invasive reproductive surgery.
Dr. Park has published several peer reviewed manuscripts and textbook chapters in these areas, and he has also presented his work at national scientific and clinical meetings. Dr. Park was named the Top Reproductive Endocrinologist in North Carolina by HealthTap in 2013. He has also been selected by his peers as one of the “Best Doctors in America” every year since 2011. He served for three years on the validation committee of the Society of Assisted Reproductive Technologies (SART)-the only national standardized database for reproductive medicine practices.
